![]() It’s similar to the graphics used in the Pokemon mystery dungeon games for 3DS, which I am a fan of. Visually the in game graphics look pretty nice on the 3DS. I don’t think it will attract much attention from gamers that are not already interested in this type of game, and chances are if you’re reading this you’re in the camp of those that will be interested, and I can confirm that if you’re anything like me you’ll like it. It’s not unique, but it’s safe, and with great mechanics, interesting characters and maybe the occasional fan-service I’m sure this title is going to sell well among fans of these types of games. For those of us that have played other games in the J/SRPG genre should all too familiar with this type of plot. When the village of Mithra is crystallized by Hilda, he decides to join the Regnant Knights in order to undo the curse.Īs you may be able to tell the story is nothing new. Whenever he is cornered or strongly wishes to protect someone, he displays an extraordinary ability to take action. He is Taken in by Lisette (the other main character) and her mother, and given the name “Alto.” Alto has a good-natured personality and is sensitive to the suffering of others. The main character was found near the village Mitra, 3 years prior to the events of the game with no memory of his past. I've been talking to the Witches every Free Time since they seem to be able to get new songs/attacks.Stella Glow also seems to borrow story tropes from LA, in that it’s main character also has amnesia. I haven't seen anyone mention trying this. I'm curious if you could play the whole game without talking to the Witches or just talking to your male party members to avoid dating sim elements. Free Time is broken up into 3 "sections" so different people are available to talk to at different times. The skills are typically passives such as the lower sp cost of skills, increased crit rate of surrounding units, etc. Talking to party members builds up your bond (Or whatever they call it) and they get new skills after certain bond levels. In order to sing during battle, Alto has to be next to them and then he "conducts" them by stabbing them in the chest with the Song Stone. Witches are able to sing during battle and it's a map-wide buff or debuff depending on who sings. Basically, the Witches will have underlaying issues/worries that prevents them from singing or being able to increase your bond with them and you'll have enter their heart/mind to clear away those problems. Alto ends up having the abilities of the "Conductor". You're gathering 4 Witches to sing together in order to reverse the crystallization caused by Hilda. Witches are the only ones who can sing (I think this is mentioned in the Demo). I'll put it below and then touch on the talking to party members after. However, I'll spoiler block the last option just in case since it's early story spoilers but it plays into the harem/dating sim elements. The last option is sort of in the Demo (When Alto enters Lisette's heart/mind). Other things available during Free Time are explore (Gives an item), do some part-time jobs (A small cutscene and gives money), or another option. ![]() So far, majority of the harem/dating sim elements are coming from your "Free Time" where you can talk to a party member (Kinda like talks in Fire Emblem). I'm in the middle of Chapter 5 and I think there's 10 or 11 chapters. So,I put in like 15? hours or so over the past 3 days and it seems people are saying it's another 15-20 hours to the end from where I am.
